چکیده
In this study, we present the microfabrication and characterization of a transparent microelectrode array (MEA) system based on PEDOT:PSS for electrophysiology. The influence electrode dimensions impedance was investigated stability over time under physiological environment demonstrated. A very good transparency value obtained by our displaying one best transmittance values when compared to other MEA. After biocompatibility validation, successfully recorded spontaneous neuronal activity primary cortical neurons cultured 4 weeks electrodes. This work shows that microelectrodes composed are promising as new tool both electrophysiology fluorescence microscopy studies cell cultures.

Electrical modeling of the cell-electrode interface for recording neural activity from high-density microelectrode arrays
Accurate electrical models are needed to support the design of modern microelectrode arrays. The point-contact model is presented thoroughly, and an area-contact model is analytically derived in order to model the electrical characteristics of the cell–electrode interface at subcellular resolution. An optimum electrode diameter for recording the electrical activity of neurons is analytically de...

The discovery of RNAi pathway in eukaryotes and the subsequent development of RNAi agents, such as siRNA and shRNA, have achieved a potent method for silencing specific genes for functional genomics and therapeutics. A major challenge involved in RNAi based studies is the delivery of RNAi agents to targeted cells. Traditional non-viral delivery techniques, such as bulk electroporation and chemi...

The unique property of the brain to learn and remember is what makes the nervous system different from any other. Its functional plasticity enables a large range of possible responses to stimuli, allowing the nervous system to integrate high resolution, multi-modal sensory information and to control extremely precise motor actions. These same properties can be realized in ex-vivo cultured netwo...
متن کاملMulti-electrode arrays technology for the non-invasive recording of neural signals: a review article
The recording of electrophysiological activities of brain neurons in the last half-century has been considered as one of the effective tools for the development of neuroscience. One of the techniques for recording the activity of nerve cells is the multi-electrode arrays (MEAs). Microelectrode arrays (MEAs) are usually employed to record electrical signals from electrogenic cells like neurons o...
